23 January 2019 - SEDIA received a courtesy visit by SME Sabah, and held a discussion on potential collaboration towards enhancing development of local SMEs. SEDIA welcomes the opportunities in working closely with SME Sabah to create a vibrant eco-system supportive of SMEs' participation in the state and national economies.
11 January 2019 - Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Mohd. Shafie Apdal paid a visit to KILC project this morning, and he was received by SEDIA Chief Executive Datuk Dr. Mohd Yaakub Johari and Vice President Dr. Chong Vun Leong, along with the staff of SEDIA and KILC.
04 January 2018 - SEDIA received a courtesy visit from the Taiwan Hakka Chamber of Commerce, brought to Wisma SEDIA by their friendship chapter Sabah Hakka Chamber of Commerce to have a discussion on business and investment opportunities available in Sabah.
19 December 2018 - SEDIA received a courtesy visit by Trade and Commerce Officer Yevhenia Shynkarenko from the Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia, and together held a discussion on potential collaboration towards enhancing the Sabah and Ukraine economies.
03 December 2018 - SEDIA is open towards tertiary education institutions in general, as well as its students in particular, seeking engagement with the statutory body, and has provided briefings and presentations in recent years to various groups from universities, which have sought out information on its role and responsibilities in developing the state of Sabah.
28 November 2018 - SEDIA welcomed 52 fourth-year students from the Computer Electronics Engineering programme at Universiti Malaysia Sabah to SAIP, whereby the students sought to gain exposure on the use of machinery and technology in the agriculture sector.
31 October 2018 - A total of 87 participants attended a two-day course, entitled "Introduction to Swiftlet Farming and the Industry's Potential", that was organised by SEDIA through its Agro-SAIP training programme at the Sabah Agro-Industrial Precinct.
2 October 2018 - SEDIA regularly provides SMEs with avenues to showcase their locally-developed products, with various entrepreneurs recently given promotion space at two separate exhibition events: the Annual State Statutory Bodies and Government Agencies exhibition; and the state-level Farmers, Breeders and Fishermen Day Innovation and Sales Exhibition of Agriculture Products.
22 September 2018 - SEDIA received a visit at the Sabah Agro-Industrial Precinct by MESTECC involving one of its agencies, the National Institute of Biotechnology Malaysia, a first in a series of visits by its MSI fund monitoring team.
21 September 2018 - SEDIA received a courtesy visit by the Chief of Poland Trade Office in Kuala Lumpur Przemyslaw Zareba, representing the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PITA), who was given a briefing on SDC programmes and initiatives.
